Dog Playing Ukulele Painting

An artist named A. Costa is responsible for this masterpiece oil painting of a human girl with a dog's head playing the ukulele on the beach. As you can tell from the painting, the dog girl is wearing a charming sailor outfit and I think...clogs. It's the coolest painting I've come across on eBay for awhile and I had to have it. I just wish I could find some info about the artist. The person who sold me the painting didn't know much about the artist either. All I know is that the painting is now on my desk at work so I can stare at it when I get stressy from deadlines. That dog beach painting is my new "happy place."
