Super Spriograph

Remember the cool geometric circle designs you made as a kid with Spirograph? Well, on eBay this week, for a mere $13, I was the highest bidder for a Super Spriograph cicra 1969. Out of 54 parts, only 6 were missing.

I could never make half of the cool images with the Spirograph like my dad could. He played with the kit more than I did when I was a wee lass. But I always lost most of the parts. Now that I'm an adult, I think I can handle a Super Spriograph. I think this is one of the better toys that kids played with in the late 60s and early 70s because it kind of forced you to be creative. It also fooled me into thinking that Geometry might be fun if it meant I'd get to draw circles like these.

The neatest thing about this Spirograph is that it came shipped with drawings that the previous owner had drawn on random pieces of scrap paper. This is one of the better purchases I have made on eBay just for the coolness factor alone!
